A substantial layer of clay-rich overburden covers portions of the Gowan property. That cover can make conventional surface exploration more difficult and may have limited what earlier generations of prospectors could observe. Fortune’s exploration strategy uses multiple sources of information to investigate what may lie beneath that cover.

Fortune has identified exploration targets at Gowan and has obtained an exploration permit allowing specified drilling activities. Fortune has not established a mineral resource or reserve at Gowan. Only drilling, laboratory assays and further technical work can determine what is actually beneath the targets. Mineral exploration involves substantial uncertainty, and drilling may not result in the discovery of economically significant mineralization.
