The Company has completed various exploration work to determine drill targets. A 2021-2022 Induced Polarization (IP) survey conducted on Fortune’s grid outlined two strong, laterally open chargeability and conductivity anomalies designated the Northern and Southern IP Conductors. The Northern and Southern IP conductors are spatially associated with mapped regional fault structures and mafic-ultramafic volcanic rocks within the Kidd-Munro Assemblage. Similar structural settings are known elsewhere in the Timmins-Porcupine camp to host gold and base-metal mineralization; however, the Company has not yet confirmed that the Gowan targets contain economically significant mineralization.
Historical Drilling and Sampling
Historical drilling records reviewed by the Company report that “drill hole FH-68 intersected 27 feet of 3.5% nickel sulfide and 1.25% copper.”
In 2023, Axiom Exploration Group Ltd. completed a satellite-based assessment of the Gowan Project using Synthetic Aperture Radar (“SAR”), Sentinel, and ASTER multispectral data. Axiom’s analysis included structural interpretation, iron index mapping, gossan identification, soil vegetation index analysis, alunite-kaolinite-pyrophyllite index mapping, hydrothermal alteration mapping, and ferric iron mapping.
Axiom identified an east-central area of the property where several satellite-derived indicators overlap. The report states that this area had a relatively higher iron signature, intersecting interpreted fault structures, and high relative spectral responses in gossan abundance, vegetation index, alunite-kaolinite-pyrophyllite index, and hydrothermal alteration mapping.
