Fortune Nickel and Gold Inc. is an exploration-stage mineral exploration and energy data analytics company. The company was incorporated in 2020 in the state of New York.  The Company’s business consists of two principal components: (1) mineral exploration and related project evaluation, focused primarily on precious metals and battery metals, and (2) revenue-generating energy monitoring and analytics services conducted through its subsidiary, Noveda Technologies, Inc. (“Noveda”).

Exploration-Stage Mineral Exploration

The Company’s mineral exploration activities are focused on identifying, evaluating, and advancing mineral properties that may have potential for gold, nickel, copper, zinc, silver, and other minerals. The Company has not established proven or probable reserves on any of its mineral properties and has not completed a feasibility study demonstrating that any mineral deposit can be mined economically. The Company’s mineral properties are exploration-stage assets. Additional technical work, including data review, sampling, permitting, geophysical analysis, drilling, metallurgical review, environmental evaluation, and economic analysis, will be required before the Company can determine whether commercial development is feasible.

The Company’s principal exploration asset is the Gowan Project, located approximately 25 kilometers northeast of Timmins, Ontario, Canada, within the Abitibi Greenstone Belt. The project consists of approximately 2,176 hectares (5,377 acres) of mineral claims. The property is located in a region with a long history of gold and base metals exploration and production.

The Beck-Ottaway property is located in Beck-Ottaway-Lennox Township, Timmins, Ontario, Canada. It comprises 80 unpatented mining claims covering approximately 4,000 acres. Positioned approximately 13 kilometers north of the Canada Nickel Crawford Ni-Co-PGE deposit, the project targets nickel-cobalt-gold mineralization and represents the Company’s second primary exploration property.

The Company’s current exploration thesis is based on historical exploration data, induced polarization surveys, remote-sensing analysis, overburden sampling, and other geological information indicating the possible presence of sulphide-bearing systems with potential for gold and base metals. The Gowan Project is located within the Kidd-Munro Assemblage, and the Company’s exploration targets include the Northern and Southern IP conductors and an east-central structural and alteration target area.

The Company’s anticipated business plan for the Gowan Project is to continue compiling and reviewing historical and modern exploration data, maintain the mineral claims in good standing, refine priority exploration targets, obtain required permits and approvals, and, if financing is available, conduct an initial drilling or field exploration program designed to test selected targets. The Company may also seek technical consultants, strategic partners, joint venture partners, or other financing sources to assist with the advancement of the project. There can be no assurance that exploration will identify any mineral resource or reserve or that the Gowan Project will ever be developed into a producing mine.

Energy Data Analytics

In addition to its mineral exploration activities, the Company conducts revenue-generating operations through its wholly owned subsidiary, Noveda. Noveda provides real-time, web-based energy and water monitoring and analytics solutions. Noveda’s services are designed to help customers monitor energy usage, evaluate renewable energy performance, analyze consumption data, and support sustainability and energy efficiency objectives. Noveda’s business provides the Company with an existing operating platform and revenue source while the Company pursues longer-term mineral exploration opportunities, which are inherently higher risk and may require substantial additional capital before generating revenue.

Moving Forward

The Company’s anticipated business plan is to use available capital to support three related objectives. First, the Company intends to advance the Gowan Project through claim maintenance, technical review, permitting, target refinement, and, if funds permit, exploration drilling or other field work. Second, the Company intends to also advance the Beck-Ottaway Project through a phased investigation  and technical review process before committing significant capital to development activities. Third, the Company intends to continue and expand Noveda’s energy monitoring and analytics business, including customer service, software maintenance, sales efforts, and continued support for existing monitoring systems.

The Company may also review additional mineral exploration, energy analytics, renewable energy, or critical minerals opportunities that are consistent with its business strategy. Any such opportunities would depend on available capital, technical merit, regulatory feasibility, and management’s assessment of risk and potential return. The Company expects that its mineral exploration activities will require significant additional funding over time and may not generate revenues for an extended period, if ever. Its near-term revenues are expected to come primarily from Noveda’s operations, while the Gowan Project and Beck-Ottaway Project evaluation represent longer-term exploration and development opportunities.
